هَلۡ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهۡرِ لَمۡ يَكُن شَيۡـًۭٔا مَّذۡكُورًا
Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was not a thing worth mentioning?

سورة 76
Translation: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
هَلۡ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهۡرِ لَمۡ يَكُن شَيۡـًۭٔا مَّذۡكُورًا
Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was not a thing worth mentioning?
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ أَمۡشَاجٍۢ نَّبۡتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
Verily, We have created man from Nutfah (drops) of mixed semen (sexual discharge of man and woman), in order to try him: so We made him hearer and seer.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّا هَدَيۡنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًۭا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا
Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ سَلَـٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغۡلَـٰلًۭا وَسَعِيرًا
Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ يَشۡرَبُونَ مِن كَأۡسٍۢ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا
Verily,, the Abrâr (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism), shall drink of a cup (of wine) mixed with (water from a spring in Paradise called) Kâfûr
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)عَيۡنًۭا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفۡجِيرًۭا
A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allâh will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذۡرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوۡمًۭا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسۡتَطِيرًۭا
They (are those who) fulfil (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينًۭا وَيَتِيمًۭا وَأَسِيرًا
And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the Miskîn[1] (the poor), the orphan, and the captive
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءًۭ وَلَا شُكُورًا
(Saying): "We feed you seeking Allâh’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوۡمًا عَبُوسًۭا قَمۡطَرِيرًۭا
"Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislike to it)."
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةًۭ وَسُرُورًۭا
So Allâh saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadrah (a light of beauty) and joy.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةًۭ وَحَرِيرًۭا
And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوۡنَ فِيهَا شَمۡسًۭا وَلَا زَمۡهَرِيرًۭا
Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon).
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَـٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلًۭا
And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَيُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍۢ مِّن فِضَّةٍۢ وَأَكۡوَابٍۢ كَانَتۡ قَوَارِيرَا۠
And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal -
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)قَوَارِيرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍۢ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقۡدِيرًۭا
Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes).
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَيُسۡقَوۡنَ فِيهَا كَأۡسًۭا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا
And they will be given to drink there of a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabîl (ginger),

A spring there, called Salsabîl.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٌۭ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤًۭا مَّنثُورًۭا
And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيۡتَ نَعِيمًۭا وَمُلۡكًۭا كَبِيرًا
And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)عَـٰلِيَهُمۡ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضۡرٌۭ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٌۭ ۖ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍۢ وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابًۭا طَهُورًا
Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّ هَـٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءًۭ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا
(And it will be said to them): "Verily, this is a reward for you, and your endeavour has been accepted."

Verily, it is We Who have sent down the Qur’ân to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) by stages.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورًۭا
Therefore be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) with constancy to the Command of your Lord (Allâh, by doing your duty to Him and by conveying His Message to mankind), and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them.

And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and ‘Asr prayers].
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلًۭا طَوِيلًا
And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and ‘Ishâ’ prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer).
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمۡ يَوۡمًۭا ثَقِيلًۭا
Verily, these (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard).
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَـٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا
It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةٌۭ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا
Verily, this (Verse of the Qur’ân) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allâh).
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا
But you cannot will, unless Allâh wills. Verily, Allâh is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Source: The Noble Qur'an – English Translation (Hilali & Khan)يُدۡخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحۡمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا
He will admit to His Mercy whom He wills and as for the Zâlimûn - (polytheists, wrong-doers) He has prepared a painful torment.
