Join a moving letter to a letter carrying sukun without inserting an extra vowel.

How to practise

Connect the consonant with sukun directly to the vowel before it. Avoid adding a hidden a, i, or u after the still letter.

Pronunciation guide

Sukun means the consonant has no vowel. Close the consonant cleanly and attach it to what precedes it.
