Hadith 9647
Sahih Muslim — Hadith 9647
'A'isha reported that (once) the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him, ) was presented with beef. It was said (by someone) that it had been given to Barira as Sadaqa. Upon this he (the Prophet) said:
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيۡدُ اللَّهِ بۡنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعۡبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بۡنُ الۡمُثَنَّى، وَابۡنُ بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفۡظُ لاِبۡنِ الۡمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بۡنُ جَعۡفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعۡبَةُ، عَنِ الۡحَكَمِ، عَنۡ إِبۡرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسۡوَدِ، عَنۡ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم بِلَحۡمِ بَقَرٍ فَقِيلَ هَذَا مَا تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ . فَقَالَ " هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ " .
