Listen line by line, repeat, then read independently. Stop only at a valid pause sign and restart from a meaningful position.

Pronunciation guide

Preserve short and long vowel length, doubled consonants, nasal sounds, and stopping signs exactly as marked.

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

ihdinaṣ-ṣirāṭal-mustaqīm

Guide us to the straight path.

Pronunciation: Merge the article into ṣād and keep ṣād and ṭā emphatic.

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ

ṣirāṭal-ladhīna anʿamta ʿalayhim

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor.

Pronunciation: Double lām in alladhīna and keep both occurrences of ʿayn clear.

غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ

ghayril-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim

Not of those who earned anger.

Pronunciation: Read ghayn from the throat and keep ḍād emphatic.

Nor of those who went astray.
